About

Joey’s ESL Room was created by a team of ESL teachers with combined experience spanning a dozen countries. We have taken our experiences - not only in the classroom, but in the countries we have taught and traveled in - and developed this site to assist ESL teachers, or those who are thinking of becoming teachers, around the world. We have made it quick and easy to learn about different countries and cities, to see the various approaches people take to teaching, and to enable you to add your own videos and ideas in order to expand our online community of teachers and teachers aides.

Whether we teach in Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, or the Czech Republic, we all do the same job and share the same goal: Teaching our language to the world. Joey’s ESL Room is pleased to be part of this, and we appreciate your ideas and contributions.
